Art of Bruce Whistlecraft

Arts Unknown and myself have become convinced of the existence of the “Curse of Bella”.
Some toy projects run as smooth as clockwork. Some do not. This one is one of the latter..
Bella has resisted creation every step of the way. But after several abandoned digital sculpting attempts and two physical sculpting attempts we finally have a locked down final prototype which is capable of being manufactured..

I am sorry so many of you have had to wait so long to meet her, but she is moving forward now at speed.
Along the way everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong.. The highlight (or lowlight of which) was the flooding of one of the sculptor’s studios, Bella wanting to escape to the sea no doubt..
It’s been a baptism of fire for Arts Unknown as this was one of their first projects. But they stuck by it and like myself decided to do it right or not do it at all.
And now she is looking better than ever. With improved, re-tooled weapons and a secret tucked away somewhere.
She is, quite literally, a killer…

Chester Runcorn will make his public debut at Wonder Con on the 16th -18th of March this year.

After the show he will go on general release but if you want to be one of the first to get him for your collection you need to get to the Kuso Vinyl booth at the show.
This is the “Port” colourway of the 6″ tall vinyl figure. The edition size of this version is I believe 300 pieces. And he wil retail around the $65 mark.

This Sunday the 5th of February sees the first of the Enamelled Bella DeLamere Mechtorian badges go on sale on my online store.

And the same day will see the release of the Humphrey Mooncalf Leprechaun edition APs too.

So that’s two great reasons to put a few minutes aside to drop by the Mechtorian Online shop this Sunday.

The “Nocturnal” edition Mooncalf will be available from 3D Retro at Designer Con this Satruday in Pasadena.
The black, grey and GLOW-IN-THE-DARK fellow is limited to 100 pieces… Get them signed my me too as I will be at the show on the Circus Posterus stand…….

The newest colorway of mine and Pobber’s Humphrey Mooncalf will be available at NYCC at the myplasticheart booth #879.
In an outragous red and black three-legged suit, the “Entertainer” edition of this moon-loving gentleman robot stands 8″ and is limited to 100 pieces at $95 each.

I will have a small amount of APs available from my online UK store in a few weeks.

They wont be around for long so go hunt one down whilst you can.

I have been having a sort out in my studio and clearing through some cupboards and boxes and decided to sell off some of the stuff I have knocking around.

Most of it is from my work pre art-toy days. Older sculpture work in various forms from finished display pieces to resin “Kit”characters, jewellery and whatnot.
There will be some original sculpts, toy prototypes and  general bargains.
