The new series of Copper Creeps focuses its attention on the world of “High Strangeness”. Searching in the shadows and out of the way places of the Earth for entities that defy explanation. These unique robotic renditions bring together some of the most mysterious creatures ever witnessed by human beings. Some have a long history with multiple sightings. Some had a single appearance, but all created long lasting impressions.
The first four figures, Chupacabra, Mothman, The Flatwoods Monster and the Pascagoula Entity are available to purchase right now on the new dedicated Copper Creeps Etsy store and my online Mechtorians store.
The figures are presented in a resin which replicates polished Pewter, and stand between 5” and 3” tall. Each is signed by Doktor A and comes in a presentation box.
During the mid 1960s the residents of Point Pleasant, West Virginia were haunted by an unsettling apparition that has gone on to become one of the most popular creatures in modern folklore. A black headless humanoid with giant wings and glowing eyes chased multiple distressed members of the public. Lazily dubbed Mothman by some newspaper writer of the time despite bearing no resemblance to the insect, the name endured. The enigmatic beast disappeared after a tragic, fatal bridge collapse. Was the creature a herald of disaster? A harbinger of doom? Or just some sort of misidentified bird?
Mothman stands 3.5” (90mm) tall with a 4” (95mm) wingspan.
Chupacabra, the Goat Sucker is one of the better known Cryptids with many thousands of sightings across Mexico and Puerto Rico. This vampiric beast is either an emaciated canine or humanoid reptilian. But sporting fangs, spines and an aggressive attitude, they are not something you want to run into whether you are a goat or not..

Moscow is currently hosting a huge exhibition about Art Toys. The history and culture of Art toys is investigated in Super Toys Live. An extraordinary, mammoth exhibition exploring Designer Toys as a new language in contemporary art.
With over 2000 exhibits across 14 themed halls with a total area of 10,000 square meters. This is possibly one of the largest displays of Designer Toys to have ever been mounted, anywhere.

It is with great excitement that I can share with you my latest collaboration with one of the original Art Toy companies, Kidrobot.
Gear up for a monstrous new addition to your collection! Kidrobot presents an epic reimagining of the King of the Monsters from UK-based artist Bruce Whistlecraft, better known as Doktor A. This ‘80s kid grew up watching early Godzilla movies on late night TV, and seeing the iconic kaiju return to the big screen in recent years inspired him to create his own tribute version in his signature retro-futurist style.
Forged from translucent, ombre burnt red vinyl, this 8-inch Godzilla art toy was meticulously designed to evoke a fiery industrial feel. “I thought the internal glow of the classic Burning Godzilla was a great match for the furnace heat of an industrial foundry,” says Doktor A.
Other industrial details include chimneys, the look of hammered metal throughout, and even working gears. “Replacing the dorsal fins with giant gears was my whole focus for this design,” says the artist. “I thought it was such a bold look without losing any of the original dynamic of the character.”
The result is a jaw-dropping fusion of monster and machine. The packaging was also designed by Doktor A and worthy of display in its own right.
