Toys Help Us (Aid for Japan)

The Awesome Shinji of Tomenosuke in Japan has organised the “Toys Help Us” project to raise money for the troubled people of Japan.

Artists from around the globe have submitted rare or special toys to be sold to raise funds.
Check out the details here :  Toys Help us (you will need an online translator as its in Japanese.)
I have put up one of a kind factory paint sample of my Stephan LePodd toy.

It was a test at a colourway which was abandoned. His eye rims are white and parts of his boiler have a nice metallic blue tone.
His eyes and cravat are emerald green.
This is the only one of its kind in the world.

Contact Shinji if you are interested in the piece. And keep an eye on his blog to see all the splendid stuff from all the great artists who have donated.

Arbuthnot Wince – The Poisoner –

Arbuthnot Wince  – The Poisoner –

It was originally supposed that Mechtorians could not be harmed by the effects of poison due to their mechanical nature. However Arbuthnot accidentally discovered the unusual side effects from application of small amounts of toxic venom distilled from the spittle of his pet, an indigenous beast he called Rupture. He discovered that his unsuspecting fellow robots could indeed be paralysed for prolonged periods of time. So like the state of death was this paralysis that he was concerned his victims would be buried or dismantled in error. He continues to research and stockpile poisons for his own entertainment. One day he may even use them…

Mooncalf Review

The first Mooncalf review is up on Toys R Evil.
http://toysrevil.blogspot.com/2011/02/toy-review-humphrey-mooncalf.html

“The figure is a well desirable product distinguishable amongst a sea of urban – not just because it is a distinctively a Doktor-A-design, but because it is so well made, and one of the better made figures I have ever seen in a long, long time.”
