The latest edition of my popular Bella DelaMere figure has arrived at my studio and is now available to purchase from my online store.

Rich browns, Ebony black and gold detailing.
A finely crafted wooden vibe permeates this edition of the popular Bella figure. Also eliciting images of exotic Nubian mysteries or simply rich chocolate wonder.
Behind her back she grasps a golden sickle.

The “The Faded Daguerreotype” colorway is a vintage monotone delight in shades of Sepia with delicate printed details.
The full run is limited to 175 pieces.
With 25 signed and numbered “AP” pieces available now direct from the good Doktor’s online store.

Discarded with the sump oil at a very early age, Bella was swept downstream until she found herself by the sea. She soon made friends with all forms of aquatic creatures and was taken in and raised by a family of Kraken (the smaller lesser spotted variety). Upon reaching adulthood she returned to the surface and emerged into society, remodelled after her adoptive kin folk. The tentacles do not raise many comments around town. But her insistence on always waring a mask certainly does. Much speculation is whispered about her true identity. And one day she will reveal her secret to the father who left her for dead…

Colonel Rombus
Now retired, the colonel was constructed to lead the army of Retropolis. To this day there has been no need for military action, though this doesn’t stop a perpetually sozzled Rombus telling tall stories of how he showed the natives a thing or two during his time in the Congo…
Originally designed for Mini Mechtorians toy series 2, Rombus got as far as a 3″ tall prototype before the project was cancelled.
Photos of that prototype resurface on the internet now and then and he has become a popular and much requested character.
April 12th 2014 sees the debut of a new incarnation of the Colonel.
A revised, all new 6″ tall “Coldcast Bronze” edition of 50 pieces will debut at ToyconUK .
Sculpted by Doktor A and hand cast and antiqued in England by Baroque Designs (who previously did such a splendid job with the Phizogs). This hefty solid piece features an inset glass eye lens and real metal Brass winding key. Each piece is signed and numbered by Doktor A.
15 piece will be available at Toycon for the price of £65 with the rest to follow soon online.

Horace Mooch was teased through school for his moustache which had unfortunately been installed upside down. Unable to afford a replacement he taught himself basic metalworking skills and fashioned himself a new one.
The replacement never reached his face. So exquisite was it that the Dean of his collage purchased it for himself and started a trend for handmade Tashes. So taken was he with his new found talent and popularity that he set up in business and soon became the go-to place for high end facial adornments. The little workshop was passed from father to son and is now in the fourth generation. Each Horace in turn waring their own Tash upside down in memorium of the founder.
ABS, PVC, Epoxy, MDF, Rubber, Lead, Glass, Polyurethane resin, Leather, Paper, Found Objects. Mounted on a wooden shelf.
16″ x 16″ approx.
My piece for the Conjoined IV sculpture show curated by Chet Zar. Opening at the Copro Gallery in Santa Monica on the 18th of January.
