I am honoured to be a part of an exciting new museum exhibition in Spain.
“A journey into the Universe of Art Toys” will be the twentieth temporary exhibition organized by the Tolosa Puppets International Center at the Topic Museum in the city of Tolosa,(province of Guipuzcoa), in Spain.
The exhibition features works from 50 artists of different trends and disciplines, from 15 countries. Coordinated and lead by the Topic Museum and organized and curated by the International Art Collective “Art Toy Gama” and Fran Picazo.
All exhibited pieces of art will be available to reserve and purchase through the Art Toy Gama Collective.
My piece is a new Mechtorian character who is set to be a winner. Members of my Patreon page have been following his step-by-step construction over the last few months.

I am very pleased and humbled to announce that I will have a couple of my pieces sitting alongside work by legends in the art world in a new museum exhibition exploring the place of toys within Art.
The Toy Box: From Pop to Present is a new exhibition, exclusive to The Gallery@ The Civic, exploring the use of toys in the world of contemporary art and design. By using British Pop Art of the 1950s and 1960s as a starting point and the movements it inspired, the exhibition will showcase paintings, prints and sculpture from around the world.
The Toy Box also takes a look at how toys have inspired the world of design, including furniture, fashion and even artist design collectable toys, such as Urban Vinyl.
It feature internationally renowned names such as Eduardo Paolozzi, KAWS, Jason Freeny, Jimmy Cauty, Glennray Tutor and Ron English, alongside the best of British contemporary artists and designers.
The Gallery @ The Civic, Hanson Street, Barnsley, UK
29 JULY – 23 SEPTEMBER
Admission FREE. Open Tuesday – Saturday, 10am – 5pm

I am pleased to say I was invited to participate in the re-launch of Boglins.
This classic line of 1980’s toys has been reworked and reintroduced by Clutter with original creator Tim Clarke.
As someone who worked on the original line of Mini Boglins back then it has been fun revisiting these mischievous little characters and messing with them.
You can see all the artist’s versions at the Clutter Gallery from Nov 12th to Dec 2nd. Drop them an email to get on their previews list if you may be interested in making a purchase.

Horace Mooch was teased through school for his moustache which had unfortunately been installed upside down. Unable to afford a replacement he taught himself basic metalworking skills and fashioned himself a new one.
The replacement never reached his face. So exquisite was it that the Dean of his collage purchased it for himself and started a trend for handmade Tashes. So taken was he with his new found talent and popularity that he set up in business and soon became the go-to place for high end facial adornments. The little workshop was passed from father to son and is now in the fourth generation. Each Horace in turn waring their own Tash upside down in memorium of the founder.
ABS, PVC, Epoxy, MDF, Rubber, Lead, Glass, Polyurethane resin, Leather, Paper, Found Objects. Mounted on a wooden shelf.
16″ x 16″ approx.
My piece for the Conjoined IV sculpture show curated by Chet Zar. Opening at the Copro Gallery in Santa Monica on the 18th of January.

Each year the awesome Blamo toy company has a custom show of its all wooden art toys. Each year to date I have been too busy to take part. This year they gave me a really early warning.. so I was able to finally do something for them. The results are Mr. Edward Woodhead.

Standing 11.5″ tall and made of Wood and brass with vintage clock gears. The base is a vintage gear from a mill weaving machine.
You can view Edward and all the other works at the TAG (Toy Art Gallery) in L.A. from the 14th of December.
