My website http://www.spookypop.com has just had a major update.
The toy section has got a lot of the custom art toys I did last year added to it now.
There are three entirely new 3D pieces added, including items from the ZARJAZ and MONSTER MASH shows.
The 3D archive has been doubled in size with a lot of the old toy prototype work I have done over the years as well as make-up work, production design bits and bobs and some architectural models.
Be aware that a lot of the new images are rollovers!!
No new artwork has been added at this time I have just been concentrating on the 3D content.
Ok time to tell you about another exhibition I am in.
the MONSTER MASH at the Here Gallery/shop in Bristol from the 7th January.
Its a group show of over 50 monsters who will battle it out in heats voted for by the public. Finals will be held in London in February.
I have a Poddy Canvas and a large H.P.Lovecraft inspired sculpture in the show…
The catalogue of the show is available now from the website as a rather natty set of “Top Trumps” style cards
One image from each artist is in the pack and there are other bonus cards floating around out there too… there is one on the printed fliers and there may be one in the New issue of Clutter magazine (issue 6…. which also has articles on my Poddyville toys and the Podling show in it..)
Visit the show site at http://www.themonstermash.co.uk for all the info.
Today I have mostly been watching Peter Jackson’s Post Production Diaries on the net.
Here : http://www.kongisking.net/kong2005/proddiary/
Its all the stuff from the end of shooting through the effects, foley, scoring and editing to the premiers.
very interesting and fun stuff. (If you like the extras stuff on DVDs then you will love this).
Right now all the clips are free to download… about 35 of them QT4 avaraging 18MB.
All the Production Diaries have been removed from the site and are now only available to buy on DVD..
So go seee these whilst they are free.
Ok people here is a chance to win a one off Doktor A customised toy.
