I have illustrated the new album cover for Debut UK rock Wunderkind “Pornovurt”.
The CD is out next week (8th I think) and is available from all major music outlets (Tower, HMV, Virgin, Woolworth, Play.com etc etc) Its also on preorder on most of these shop’s websites.

Also a range of Zombie Girl merchandise has been added to the Stuff section. I think the mousemats are particularly natty.

The Prints section has been updated with pictures of all the prints available to make it simpler.
A new originals section has been added. Thats right actual real paintings to buy.
The merchandise shop has been properly linked into the site. more stuff being added soon.

This will be old old news to anyone in the rest of the world. But for those of us in a movie timewarp here in the UK. I strongly advise going to see Hellboy. One of the best comic adaptation movies ever. Splendid!

There is this wonderful, beautifully drawn comic out there called “Bear”(go look in the links section). I have been reading it from its beginning and it re-opened my eyes to Slave Labor comics which I was worrying were becoming formulaic. Anyway I digress, I have just found out that it’s creator Jamie Smart has a live journal too. So I have linked him in the “Friends” section so you can all go read his Badger filled wisdom. He posts more than me and is generally more amusing too. And spooky spooky it seems he lives not too far from me. Its a small world.

I have added a new page 9 to the comic (Tragic Magic). I just wasnt happy with the original one.
Also I have put up the first selection of pages from the book I did with Marcus (Tarantella Serpentine) Lanyon a few years ago. I will add another five or so pages each month from now on untill all 40 pages are up online.

The first part of my comic is now online for you to look at.
So far the first 11 pages of the first issue (24 pages total) is online.
If I get enough good feedback the rest of this issue will go up ( its all finished already!)
Working title is “Tragic Magic”.

Been quite a quiet month. Done an album cover for SteelPan.co.uk which is nearing completion, worked on a few tattoo designs for a local fellow and been plugging away on “Secret Project X” Its mostly called that as I dont have a title for it yet and I dont like to jinx things by talking about them until a significant amount of work has been competed. In other news the book I did with Marcus (Tarantella Serpentine) Lanyon, is currently being assessed by Slave Labor Graphics in the USA. So waiting on feedback from that one.
SPOOKYPOP is steadily being linked to more online galleries and art resource sites, which is nice.
Oh and I was interviewed by “Bite Me” magazine about my art… So lots of pictures of vampires and stuff there then. That should be out in a month or so.. Like I said quite a quiet month.
