This year for Designer Con LA I have created a brand new mini edition customised art-toy.
Burkley Chiswick is a 2.5″ tall original Mechtorian creation based on the Rolitoland vinyl toy from Toy2R. Each figure is hand customised by Doktor A and comes with a cast metal winding key in a presentation round wooden box.
There are only six available. And they cost $150 each.
Come and add one to your collection at booth 735 at Designer con from the 18th-20th November at Anaheim Convention Centre.
This November 18th-21st sees Designer Con return to the Anaheim Convention Centre in Los Angeles. And after a three year break Doktor A will once again be vending!
On his booth (No.735) he will have a large selection of new customised toy pieces available. As well as a selection of toys and merchandise.
See the following post for the exclusive mini edition“Burnley Chiswick”. Only 6 of these were created. And more news of an exciting new toy release.
He is always happy to chat, answer questions and sign and doodle on things you bring along.
Designer Con LA this month sees the launch of the first Doktor A Bearbrick.
The good Doktor has worked his Retro-Futurist magic on Japanese company Medicom’s iconic platform Art-Toy. And come up with “Benjamin Toolbox” a Mechtorian crafter and maker.
You will be able to collect him direct from Medicom’s booth No. 450 at the event.
And there should be a signing scheduled at some point over the convention weekend. See the show details nearer the time for more info.

An armchair critic! Always willing to give his opinion on things of which he is unqualified to speak. Though he “does his own research” he always reaches conclusions that match those he reads.
