Opening on the 13th of August (to September 2nd) at Clutter Gallery (163 Main St, Beacon, NY 12508, USA).
My first solo show on the East coast in almost a decade.
“The Future Ain’t What it Used to Be.” A retro-futuristic look back at how the present doesn’t quite deliver on the promises of the past. A tongue in cheek view of our own world through mechanical eyes from an alternative history.
In part this show represents my reaction to world events over the last few years.
I will be debuting some significant new original pieces. As well as a selection of smaller Mechtorian creations, resin multiples, customised toys and graphic artworks.
After a couple of years break in proceedings, once again ToyconUK will be taking place in London. And I will be in attendance.
At booth No.12 I will have the selection of original customised pieces pictured above. There will each be £200 or less.
As well as these I will have production toys, artwork and other merchandise. And I am always happy to doodle, answer questions and sign stuff.
Look out for some rare Thomas Nosuke Japanese Sofubi figures too.
On June 11th & 12th at its new venue of the Novotel London West Hotel in Hammersmith, toy makers from around the world will be converging to display and sell their works.
Tickets are available online. So pick up one for yourself and your friends and come along to join the art toy fun.
